Ingredients:
- 2 pie sheets
- Roast chestnuts 150 g
- Sugar 100 g
- Rum 2 tablespoons
- Cocoa powder 2 teaspoons
- Cinnamon a quarter of teaspoon
- Cloves a quarter of teaspoon
- Ginger 1 teaspoon
- Mini chocolate chips 70 g
- Salt
Cooking Instructions:
- These cookies are not traditional ginger cookies cooked for Christmas. They are a great dessert with chocolate stuffing, called Chestnut Tortelli. Put 150 g of roast chestnuts into a food processor. Then, add 100 g of sugar and a pinch of salt. Blitz.
- Next, add 2 tablespoons of rum. Then, add 2 teaspoons of cocoa powder and a quarter of teaspoon of cinnamon and a quarter of teaspoon of cloves. Then, add a teaspoon of ginger. Blitz again. Next, add 70 g of mini chocolate chips. Blitz again.
- Take a sheet of pie dough. Cover the table with a little bit of flour and put your dough on it.
- Then, use a cookie cutter to make circles. Put a teaspoon of filling on each circle. Next, brush all the sides with an egg wash and seal the edges.
- Put your cookies on a baking tray and cover the tops with an egg wash.
- Cook the cookies in the oven at 200 degrees for 20 minutes until golden brown.
