Ingredients:
- All-purpose flavor 600 g
- Baking soda 1 teaspoon
- Cinnamon 1 teaspoon
- Cloves 1 teaspoon
- Ground ginger 1/2 teaspoon
- Nutmeg 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt 1 teaspoon
- Brown sugar 250 g
- Vegetable oil 10 ml
- Molasses 150 ml
- 1 egg
- Crystalized ginger 150 g
Cooking Instructions:
- First, take 600 g of all-purpose flavor and sift it into a large bowl. Add a teaspoon of baking soda. Then, sift a teaspoon of cinnamon, 1 teaspoon of cloves, half of a teaspoon of ground ginger and a half of teaspoon of nutmeg. Add a teaspoon of salt. These were dry ingredients.
- Then, mix all wet ingredients. Take 250 g of brown sugar, 100 ml of flavorless vegetable oil, 150 ml of molasses. Mix all the ingredients in the food processor. Then, add a whole egg. Continue mixing.
- Then, add your dry ingredients. Give that a really good mix.
- Next, chop 150 g of crystallized ginger and add to the mixture in the food processor. Mix.
- Form equal rounds and then, roll them in the sugar. Then, flatten your cookies and put them on the baking tray.
- Place your cookies into the oven at 180 degrees C for 12 minutes and you will have the most delicious chewy ginger molasses cookies for Christmas dinner.
