Ingredients:
- 12 chicken thighs
- Buttermilk 180 ml
- Dill pickle juice 100 ml
- Hot sauce 50 ml
- Flour 300 g
- Paprika 20
- Pickled cucumbers 150 g
- Vegetable oil
- Kosher salt
- Pepper
Cooking Instructions:
- First, prepare a chicken marinade. Add 150 ml of buttermilk into a bowl, then, add 100 ml of dill pickle juice. Next, add 30 ml of hot sauce, a pinch of kosher salt and black pepper. Give that a good mix.
- Take 12 chicken thighs and place them into the marinade. Place into the fridge for 2 hours.
- Next, cook a delicious sauce. Take a bowl and add 100 ml of runny honey. Chop pickled cucumbers and add to honey. Then, add 50 ml of pickle juice and 20 ml of hot sauce.
- Next, take 300 g of all-purpose flour and add 20 g of paprika. Then, add dry mustard and a pinch of kosher salt. Give that a good mix. Add 30 ml of buttermilk and mix again.
- Take marinated chicken out of the fridge and place it into flour. Make sure that every piece is covered with flour.
- Take a deep pan; add vegetable oil, so that it could cover the chicken. Place your chicken bites into the pan and fry for about 4 minutes.
