Ingredients:
- 4 chicken breasts with skin
- Olive oil 100 ml
- 5 cloves of garlic
- White wine 100 ml
- 2 lemons
- Dried oregano ½ tablespoon
- Fresh thyme leaves 10 g
- Salt
- Pepper
Cooking Instructions:
- In this recipe you will find out how to cook chicken breasts for Christmas dinner. Firstly, make a sauce, which is really simple. Take a deep pan and heat it. Then, add 100 ml of olive oil. Cut 5 cloves of garlic and add to the pan. Then, add 100 ml of good white wine. Next, add a tablespoon of lemon zest and juice of 1 lemon. Add a half of a teaspoon of dried oregano and 10 g of fresh thyme leaves. Season with salt and pepper.
- Take a deep baking tray and pour the lemony sauce in it. Season 4 chicken breast with salt and pepper and place them on the sauce. Brush the tops of chicken breast with olive oil. Take 1 lemon and cut it in 8 wedges, then, put the wedges into the tray.
- Next, place the tray into the oven at 200 degrees C for 30-40 minutes. Then, take the chicken out of the oven, cover the tray with the foil and let it rest for 10 minutes.
