Pickled Asparagus

Pickled Asparagus


  • 8 asparagus stalks
  • Vinegar 1 cup
  • Sugar 1 cup
  • Fresh dill 3 sprigs
  • Lemon ¼
  • 1 bay leaf
  • Olive oil
  • Salt

Cooking Instructions:

  1. Into the sauce pan, add 3 cups of water and 1 cup of vinegar. Bring the water to boil. Then, add 1 cup of sugar and a pinch of salt.
  2. Next, add 3 sprigs of fresh dill and a quarter of lemon. Let the water boil for 1 minute, then, turn off the heat and let the water cool down.
  3. Take a hot, non-stick pan, then, add some olive oil and a pinch of salt. Take 8 stalks of asparagus and place into the pan. Add some ground bay leaf. Scorch them, when your asparagus start to change the color, take a gar and place them into it.
  4. Take the liquid and pour it into the gar to cover the asparagus. Cover the gar with the lid and let it cool down. Great pick-me-up snack is ready.
