- 8 asparagus stalks
- Vinegar 1 cup
- Sugar 1 cup
- Fresh dill 3 sprigs
- Lemon ¼
- 1 bay leaf
- Olive oil
- Into the sauce pan, add 3 cups of water and 1 cup of vinegar. Bring the water to boil. Then, add 1 cup of sugar and a pinch of salt.
- Next, add 3 sprigs of fresh dill and a quarter of lemon. Let the water boil for 1 minute, then, turn off the heat and let the water cool down.
- Take a hot, non-stick pan, then, add some olive oil and a pinch of salt. Take 8 stalks of asparagus and place into the pan. Add some ground bay leaf. Scorch them, when your asparagus start to change the color, take a gar and place them into it.
- Take the liquid and pour it into the gar to cover the asparagus. Cover the gar with the lid and let it cool down. Great pick-me-up snack is ready.
