Ingredients:
- 3 apples
- Dates 30 g
- Cinnamon powder 1 tablespoon
- Honey 2 tablespoons
- Orange zest 30 g
- Plain flour 125 g
- Caster sugar 1 tablespoon
- Baking powder 1 tablespoon
- Butter 150 g
- 1 egg
- Milk 100 ml
- Vanilla extract 1 drop
- Flaked almonds 30 g
- Salt
- Ice-cream for decoration
Cooking Instructions
- First off, start preparing the apples. Peel and chop them. Place the apples into the hot pan with 50g of butter.
- Add 1 table spoon of cinnamon powder and 2 tablespoons of honey.
- Then, add 30 g of dates and orange zest. Cook for 2 more minutes and spoon into baking dishes.
- For the sponge topping, sift 125 g of plain flour with a pinch of salt. Add 1 tablespoon of caster sugar and baking powder, add 100 g of butter. Blitz.
- Add orange zest, 1 egg, 100 ml of milk and vanilla extract.
- Spoon the dough on to the spiced apples, sprinkle with flaked almonds.
- Bake for about 18 minutes.
- When cooked, dust with icing sugar. Finish with vanilla ice-cream. Cook this recipe with a photo!
